Our Story
At The Center Cut Slaughter & Meat Processing, we believe in bringing fresh, honest, and locally raised meat to the tables of Farmington, MO, and the surrounding communities. Since opening in 2022, we’ve quickly built a reputation as a trusted, high-quality butcher shop rooted in integrity, craftsmanship, and hometown values.
Our journey began with a simple mission: to fill a need we saw in our community for a reliable, respectable local meat processor. We wanted to give people a direct source for clean, well-raised, USDA-inspected meats—and not just any meats, but ones raised on our own farm, located just across the road from our shop. With deep roots in Farmington, both of us were born and raised right here. We knew we could offer more than just great meat—we could offer true farm-to-table products and a transparent, sustainable process our customers could trust.
What makes The Center Cut truly unique is our complete control over every step of the process. From raising animals with care on our farm, to slaughtering, butchering, packaging, and selling—all of it happens under our watchful eye. We’re proud to be USDA inspected and certified, so our customers know they’re getting safe, high-quality meat every time.
Our offerings include a variety of locally raised beef, pork, and other meats, as well as pork lard, beef tallow, jerky, sausages, fresh cheeses, spices, and more. We even carry select dairy items and specialty products that you can’t find just anywhere. We also pride ourselves on carrying organic options that align with the values of many of our customers.

If you are looking for a Real farm to food store look no further this is an amazing little general store in Farmington that is full of organic products. I am so excited that I found them and I will be going nowhere else to get my meat they even offer a Azure standard drop, which is something that is hard to find an areas. I truly feel blessed that I found this little hidden gem.
